Generally, two different brands of OLED TVs are sold, LG and SONY. Both brands use the LG OLED screen to create an image on the screen.

• The name suggests, that the TV produces the image and colours with an ORGANIC screen, in fact it is only named so, due to the C or Carbon component of the screen,

• There are a few other brands that sell OLED TVs , most use the LG screen beside their own driver boards.

• The main difference between LED and OLED TVs is the screen, the OLED TV does not require a back light to illuminate the screen, the screen generates its own brightness.
